Today only a small update to celebrate the coming TS 2014. It's a Salora-receiver with VR Modifications sticker.

Today I retextured few more instruments to TS2013 standards.

Small update to control desk texturing in cabin. I tried to render reflections with raytracing material in 3ds but it was way too slow so I added some manually with Photoshop.

Today I have been texturing and remapping the control desk. Some switches are still in wrong place. Here is creation of rust and dirt in Mudbox:

Today(or yesterday) I managed to turn Sr1 from a scenery object to a blueprinted locomotive:

Today and yesterday I have been finishing the exterior model with some details and mapping.

Soon as the exterior model is good enough I can start playing with rule blueprints and interior modelling.

Today I made identification plate for the locomotive and tested bump levels.

Ok, I finally managed to get roof dark enough. Still some final touches and that part of the model is ready.

Today I added few details to roof section because it looks somewhat dull. Also tried to fade out some of specularity.  Here is the model while being selected for better look to material specularity.

Today I made minor tweaks to shader and renderer parameters to bring more details to shading. I also continued to test the material in different lighting conditions.

Today I added few details to the roof section and tested lighting parameters of textures in different daylight conditions of Railworks.

After a short vacation I continued work with exterior model. Frontal headlights got better texture and 3d modelled light bulbs inside.
